DateSpot offers both free and paid ways to participate.

Unlike traditional matchmaking services that require a large upfront investment, DateSpot's unique model is flexible, affordable, and risk-free.

After creating a profile, a matchmaker will assess your opportunities within the DateSpot network and share any existing match potential, with free options at the forefront.

For members who want more proactive support and expanded options, dedicated matchmaking services are available if we identify enough potentials for your search. Being a Client is on a purely pay-per-match system, where intros are only paid when there is mutual interest based on thorough profiles.

This is the only required cost if you'd like to be a Client. Meet with Matchmaker Carla Guarnay for a 45-minute video consultation to discuss your background, lifestyle, opportunities, review photos, and whether dedicated matchmaking support is a good fit.•

Match Batch — $499
Explore up to 10 curated match potentials at once for greater efficiency and faster feedback.•

Match Introduction — $899 each
You only pay when we recommend someone, both people are interested in meeting, and you choose to move forward. You are never automatically charged.

Background Check — $100
We review and flag anything notable and get back to you within one business day.

Video Clip — $50 (or free if you upload your own)

Yes! Every member starts with a free match review and is eligible for curated introductions within the DateSpot network. If we identify a mutual match opportunity that aligns with what you're looking for, you can be introduced at no cost.

That said, free introductions depend on existing opportunities within our network and can be infrequent, and there are no guarantees of any match opportunities. Members who want to expand their options can choose optional paid services that allow us to proactively search for and pursue additional match opportunities on their behalf. There is never any obligation to purchase anything.

1. Traditional matchmaking companies lock you into hefty upfront fees, whereas with us you pay as you go based on who you want to meet and who also wants to meet you. There's total flexibility with when you want to stop.

3. We offer ID verification through optional background checks, ID checks, and even video clips so you can get a "vibe check" and see what the person looks like outside of their photos.

4. We don't hold to any quotas that can lead to poor quality pairings and pressure and disappointment on both sides.

5. We also have an entire network of matchmaking companies subscribing to our platform, and an extremely strong network of partners,  which expands your match possibilities beyond what any one company can do.

DateSpot is based in Silicon Valley, California. We work with clients across the United States through a nationwide network of professional matchmakers, so geography is rarely a limitation. We also work with members who are based internationally if they spend frequent travel time in the U.S. or are open to relocating there.

Because matchmaking is based on real compatibility within our network, the availability of meaningful match opportunities can vary depending on location and search criteria. After your free match review, we’ll share what level of match potential exists for your specific situation. In addition, some of our partner matchmakers are based in different regions, which means you may be considered for introductions even if you are participating through the free match review process.

After you complete your account (at least 50% filled out), you should receive an email within three business days about your match assessment.

This review includes both free options with paying Clients as well as other options with Candidates (non-paying members).

There is no guarantee of matches as it depends on mutual criteria and agreement to meet based on profiles with photos. However, we aim to match as many people as possible while preserving high compatibility.
